1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the Campaign Catcher website, Chrome extension, support communications, trial and subscription access, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Campaign Catcher is a software product operated by Zachary Rohring (“Campaign Catcher,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Policy does not govern Amazon, Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, ExtensionPay, Stripe, Cloudflare, or other third parties. Their handling of information is controlled by their own policies and terms.
2. Information we process
2.1 Website visits
The public website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral advertising tools. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may automatically process standard network and device information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, referral information, and security signals. We may receive aggregated or security-related hosting information, but we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
2.2 Amazon page information processed in your browser
When you start a filtering mission, Campaign Catcher can read and evaluate information displayed in your authenticated Amazon session on permitted Amazon pages, including:
- Creator Connections campaign titles, brands, campaign URLs, timing, commission details, and associated product links;
- Amazon product titles, ASINs or other product identifiers, prices, star ratings, “bought in past month” indicators, product-video information, and related page signals;
- the existence of prior brand conversations when you enable the Pro contacted-brand feature; and
- page state, loading status, and interface elements needed to complete and explain the filtering process.
The contacted-brand feature may temporarily inspect the Amazon Messages interface, including conversation labels, message nodes, message-panel text, and Amazon’s empty-chat or loading indicators, solely to determine whether a prior conversation exists and whether the selected conversation has fully loaded. Campaign Catcher does not save or transmit the content of your Amazon messages.
The core filtering workflow processes this Amazon information locally in your browser. It is not transmitted to Campaign Catcher-operated servers, ExtensionPay, or Stripe as part of normal mission processing.
2.3 Information stored by the extension
Campaign Catcher uses Chrome extension storage to maintain the workflow you request. Depending on the feature, stored information can include:
- filter settings, thresholds, ranking choices, interface preferences, and custom preset names;
- mission identifiers, progress, pause/resume state, recovery state, source and mission-created tab identifiers, timestamps, and other continuity data needed to resume a user-started mission;
- keeper results and supporting details such as campaign and product URLs, ASIN, price, rating, sales-floor indicator, video count, commission rate, estimated commission per sale, contact-check status, and qualification explanation;
- Smart Memory data such as recently confirmed product signals, relevant freshness timestamps, and prior-contact outcomes used to avoid unnecessary repeated checks while still applying the user’s current rules; and
- a local snapshot of trial, plan, paid-access, cancellation, and entitlement status so Pro access can be displayed and handled reliably.
Most Campaign Catcher workflow data is stored in chrome.storage.local on your browser profile. ExtensionPay-related keys and account-status data may be stored using Chrome sync storage when available, which means Google may sync that limited data across browsers signed into the same Chrome profile according to your Chrome settings and Google’s policies.
2.4 Trial, account, and payment information
Campaign Catcher uses ExtensionPay for trial activation, paid-access verification, login/reactivation, plan selection, and subscription management. To perform those functions, the extension communicates with ExtensionPay using an extension identifier and a unique ExtensionPay API key. It requests or receives information such as installation timing, trial timing, email address, paid status, plan, subscription status, cancellation timing, and entitlement status.
When you start a trial, sign in, subscribe, or manage billing, you interact with pages provided by ExtensionPay and Stripe. Those providers may collect your email address, name, billing address, payment method, transaction details, IP address, browser information, and other information required for account security, fraud prevention, payment processing, receipts, tax, and legal compliance. Stripe processes complete payment-card details. Campaign Catcher does not receive or store your complete card number, card security code, or online-banking credentials.
2.5 Support communications
If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, extension version, browser and operating-system information, billing details necessary to locate a transaction, screenshots, diagnostic exports, and the content of your request. Please redact Amazon messages, addresses, payment credentials, access tokens, and other sensitive information that is not necessary for support.
2.6 Diagnostic exports
Campaign Catcher can generate diagnostic reports to help troubleshoot mission performance, page-health, recovery, and compatibility problems. Diagnostic reports are created locally and are not automatically uploaded to Campaign Catcher. A diagnostic export may contain timing and request-pressure information, mission settings and counters, page or tab state, categorical errors, brand names, Amazon campaign or product identifiers, and Amazon URLs needed to explain the workflow. The diagnostic system is designed not to record Amazon page bodies or Amazon message bodies. A report reaches Campaign Catcher only if you choose to send it to support.
2.7 Information we do not intentionally collect
Campaign Catcher does not ask for or directly collect your Amazon password, complete payment-card details, government identification, precise location, contact list, or browsing history outside the disclosed Amazon pages. Campaign Catcher may temporarily inspect Amazon message-interface content as described above, but it does not save or transmit the content of your Amazon messages. We do not use Amazon page data for advertising, credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Chrome permissions and why they are used
- scripting: to run packaged Campaign Catcher logic on permitted Amazon pages during a user-started filtering mission, including reading page-visible campaign and product signals and checking prior-contact status when that rule is enabled. Campaign Catcher does not execute remotely hosted code.
- tabs: to open relevant campaign and product tabs, monitor mission-created tabs, focus keeper results, and close mission-created tabs that fail the user’s rules.
- storage: to save settings, presets, Smart Memory data, progress, results, pause/resume and recovery information, and trial or subscription status.
- sidePanel: to provide the extension’s primary interface.
- alarms: to schedule mission checkpoints, cooldown and retry deadlines, recovery checks, and other background continuity tasks so a user-started mission can safely continue or resume when Chrome suspends the extension’s background service worker.
- idle: to determine whether the device is active, idle, or locked while a user-started mission is running so Campaign Catcher can pause or defer affected work and resume safely. Idle-state information is used for mission reliability, not advertising or profiling.
- Amazon host access: limited to the Amazon and Amazon Affiliate Program domains listed in the extension manifest so Campaign Catcher can read the campaign, product, and Messages interface information necessary for the disclosed filtering workflow.
- ExtensionPay host access: limited to
extensionpay.comso Campaign Catcher can verify trial and subscription entitlements and support account, payment-page, and subscription-management flows. This access is not used to read unrelated browsing activity.
Campaign Catcher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and Chrome extension permissions will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. How we use information
We process information to:
- provide the filtering, ranking, tab-management, contacted-brand, Smart Memory, progress, pause/resume, recovery, and result features you request;
- save your settings and maintain continuity between sessions;
- adapt mission timing and recovery behavior when Amazon pages are slow, unavailable, or showing signs that additional waiting is appropriate;
- activate trials, verify Free or Pro access, process subscriptions, and prevent entitlement abuse;
- respond to support, billing, security, and legal requests;
- maintain, debug, secure, and improve the Service; and
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud, and protect users, the Service, and third parties.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.
5. When information is disclosed
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website; ExtensionPay provides extension trial, login, entitlement, and subscription infrastructure; Stripe processes payments. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Support at your direction. Information contained in an email, screenshot, or diagnostic report is disclosed to us when you choose to send it for support.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; enforce agreements; investigate fraud or security issues; or protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfer. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
6. Advertising, cookies, and tracking signals
The current website and extension do not include third-party advertising, behavioral advertising trackers, or our own analytics platform. We do not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals because we do not use the Service for cross-site behavioral tracking. Third-party checkout, account, and linked websites may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their policies.
7. Retention and deletion
Campaign Catcher workflow data stored locally—including settings, Smart Memory, mission continuity, recovery state, and results—generally remains until it is overwritten by later activity, removed through an available reset or clear function, cleared through Chrome, or removed when the extension is uninstalled, subject to Chrome’s own storage and synchronization behavior. Uninstalling Campaign Catcher does not automatically cancel a subscription or delete information held by ExtensionPay, Stripe, Google, Cloudflare, or your email provider.
We retain support communications and related records only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain business and security records, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Payment providers retain transaction and account records according to their policies and legal obligations.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can control many aspects of Campaign Catcher data by changing extension settings, deleting presets, clearing available local data, clearing Chrome extension data, or uninstalling the extension. You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the extension’s subscription-management flow.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to appeal a response or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights are subject to verification, legal exceptions, and the scope of applicable law.
To submit a privacy request, email support@campaigncatcher.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your email address or request enough information to locate relevant records. For information controlled by ExtensionPay, Stripe, Google, Amazon, or Cloudflare, you may also need to contact the applicable provider directly.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service, including limiting extension permissions and keeping core Amazon page processing in the browser. However, no device, browser extension, network transmission, storage system, or third-party service can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your browser profile, email, Amazon account, and payment account.
10. International processing
We and our service providers are based in or operate from the United States and other countries. Information may therefore be processed in a country whose laws differ from those where you live. Where required, providers may rely on contractual or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adults and business users participating in creator, affiliate, or similar programs. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support so we can review and address the request.
12. Third-party policies
You should review the privacy terms of the services you use with Campaign Catcher, including ExtensionPay, Stripe, Google, Cloudflare, and Amazon. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, permissions, storage, service providers, or law. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
